Farm Week 23-27 January

What is Farm Week?

The idea is simple, bring together like-minded photographers from all over to learn, to inspire, to talk, to teach, to listen, to grow, to energise, to rejuvenate, to begin and to create. From the 29th of January to the 2nd of February 2014, we are flinging open the doors of Photography Farm for 5 days of non residential talks and workshops by some of the industry’s finest. We are putting together an awesome timetable of talks, classes and panels in the Pool House and the Farm House. Come for just one talk or pick and mix from a few to fill in the gaps in your business. If you joined us last year, you will know what an incredible experience it is and if not, read Lisa’s take on it all here.

The Mentors

We are very excited to have some very inspirational guests including once again, the inimitable Brooke Davis who literally blew our minds last year and also from the US, the amazing Tavis Johnson will his bag full of film cameras. We finally persuaded the lovely Joanna Brown to host a masterclass with us and just know that she is going to be a big inspiration. We look forward to hearing from the fantastic David McNeil, fresh from his trip to the US to improve his photojournalism. Another first for the Farm, we are also welcoming the creative force that is Tigz Rice. She will host a delicious one day masterclass on the Art of Boudoir and then put on her other hat as ambassador for Adobe to teach all you ever wanted to know about Lightroom and Photoshop but were afraid to ask. We also invited some of the best UK wedding photographers ~ Emma Lucy to get you started and open your mind to stock photography, Lee Robbins to teach you magic for the couple shots, Laura McCluskey brings the East London fashion scene to weddings and Neil Douglas Thomas from Scotland will show us how to rock it.  We are covering an amazing range of topics and of course Lisa and Adam are back as is the surprise hit from last year, lawyer Scott Gair.

Sounds fabulous, how do I book? See the full TIMETABLE and booking details.

What else can I do at Farm Week?

ALL of our fabulous  mentors are for the first time offering private one to one mentoring sessions. Lasting a full 90 minutes, these Kitchen Table Sessions are available by emailing us which day and which mentor you wish to see. We will do our best to match you up and the cost is just £150. Once booked, your mentor will be in touch with some questions that will help them tailor the session for your needs. You will decide what topics to cover between you so that you can make the best of the time.

We are also going to set up a couple of panel sessions with a mixture of mentors.. Stay tuned for details on those.

How do I get there? See travel and accommodation details here.

Hi Eneka. We are not selling full week passes. All the classes are on an individual rate and can be booked by clicking on them. We have kept all the prices low so you can opt to pick and mix whichever ones suit you. Lisa x
