Hear Hear! We are absolutely privileged to work with world class photographers and videographers who give up their time, effort and skills to help us on our adventure.
We have a daily battle on our hands when dealing with print to get people to guarantee that they will correctly credit images...and as you have said, they can say they're gonna do it but when it comes to it...and its too late to do anything about it, they often magically forget.
It is a disgrace when this happens, if it wasn't for stories being backed by great images there would be nothing for them to print!
They need to get their priorities right or before long no-one will be happy to have their work submitted as it is just not worth the effort when credits are missed!

Couldn't agree more. Makes me pretty mad when I see bloggers not crediting photographer's work...of course for some it can be put down to naivety but not all. In a book or a magazine it's even more inexcusable!

I think by the sounds of it one of the magazines you may be referring to is one I was published in recently, I noticed your photo on the opposite page to mine and neither were credited. Its quite frustrating for me as a soon to be photography graduate getting a full page photo in a national magazine is quite an accomplishment, but some of that was taken away slightly by the lack of credit :(
